NEED HELP PLEASE !!! Getting ready for my final for Micro. Now using SG101. Extreamly confused navigaring it.
I read the directions on how to use this guide but I am finding that the quizes talk of things that are never reviewed in the material provided ??? What's the best way to tackle this ??? Any help would be great !

Hi there, I used SG101 for all my EC nursing theory exams, didn't gave to do any of the pre-reqs through EC since I got them through a local community college, however, I suggest you start from the beginning of the items usually listed by topics( don't know how micro SG works in comparison to the theory exams) there's usually an outline of quizzes and or practice exams, the content guide is usually explanatory. I'll say start from the outline page and click on the items, sometimes they combine several chapters into one file. Open these files and click your way around. See if this help.

I am also starting micro and am using study guide 101. I feel the same as you. It is a lot of material to get through, I felt the same about anatomy and physiology too though and got through that. Would you be interested in being study buddies? I want to get this test over ASAP !

Did you do all the chapter quizes or only follow the material that was outlined in the EC study guide?

the material in the study guide is the material that is outlined in the EC content guide. You'll find out that EC likes to put questions in the exams that aren't covered in the material also. If you find something that you have trouble with, I always google it and you can search the study guide also. I've found that the study guides follow the ec content guide pretty close although the ec content guides are all over the place if you try using the books. If this is your first exam, take your time and work through one section at a time and like i said use google and even youtube to help you. One section at a time!
Thanks I appreciate the help !

Karen014 I got your message however since I don't have 15 posts it won't let me respond in a private message. If you want to private message me feel free. My email is [email protected]. I'm going through this alone so I'm always up for encouragement, study help, and to vent about all of this lol. The practice tests are really good to study. If it weren't for them I would have failed. Basically what I did was go through the ones I missed or even if I got it right and had no clue what it was talking about was type up my own little study guide. It was time consuming to do it that way but I knew it was the only way to study. Its gonna take a full day of dedication to sitting at your computer. The real test is very close to the practice exams and the sample questions at the end of the content guide. The questions did seem a little easier on the test though. Definitely know the parts on the content guide that is worth the most percentage wise. Trust me I felt like I had completely failed it. Every time I felt like I had missed one or had to guess I marked a tally down and at the end of the exam I had 33 tally's... It was a horrible feeling. But like I said I really only dedicated 3 full days of hard core studying and passed! You can do it! Best of luck!
Thanks I will do that. 1 week left till test day
