Seton hall accelerated program

Published

My daughter is a current sophomore nursing student at Seton Hall University and were in a bit of a conflict with the Nursing program. Unfortunately, she underwent emergency knee surgery in late September while also managing the workload of Nursing School to follow. Her academic performance was satisfactory except for one class. She excelled in everything in that class, yet didn't submit one assignment as a result didn't pass the class. We are trying to argue that she was under high dose narcotic medication at the time and the school failed to accommodate her health needs. As of right now, they are looking to eject her from the Nursing Program yet we are trying to fight it. We feel as though the school did not take the necessary measures to ensure her health issues were accommodated. We are looking to schedule an in-person meeting with the dean. Do you think this can be reevaluated or she should apply for the accelerated program ?
