Senior project

Hi I was wondering if any of you would be able to answer the following questions for my senior project. We have to interview someone that is working in the career field  that we are going to college to study for. I really would appreciate if someone would take their time out the day to answer the following questions. Thank you so much!

1.Describe specifically what knowledge, skills and responsibilities are involved in your job/career?

2.Describe your average daily routine or a typical day at work.

3.Why did you choose this particular career?

4.What is the best advice you could give someone who is thinking about going into this line of work?

5. If you could go back and change anything about entering or staying in your career, what would it be?

6.What areas do you like least about your career?

7.What areas do you like most about your career.

8.What benefits, aside from making money, does your career offer?

9.What kind of personal qualities, strengths and skills do employees look for in a persons being hired in this career today?

10.What are some other possible related occupations to this career?

11.What is the best way to acquire an entry-level position and then to advance in this Career?

12.What is the current outlook (the future) for jobs in this profession?

13. What is your job title? Your first and last name

14.who is your employer?

Moved to Student Assistance. I will warn you that those last two questions are possibly going to discourage folks from answering. Many members enjoy the anonymity.

Also, part of this assignment (though not explicitly stated) is to get you to talk face-to-face with a working nurse, not just to cut and paste answers from strangers on the net. This is a skill you'll need as a nurse, talking to strangers to obtain useful information, and so this assignment is related to your education for that too.

You can find working nurses in many different places besides hospitals-- call the town or city public health department, the school nurses, the town or city nurse, a nurse in an office setting, the coroner's office... part of your assignment is to find useful info on different types of careers you can share with your classmates.

It's a bigger field than most people appreciate, especially at the beginning. Have fun!
