Second Entry Nursing at YorkU

I am currently studying BSCN Nursing at Ryerson. However, I have a feeling that my performance this year is not going to be successful and I am currently on probation. If anything happens (i.e.failing this school year), I am planning to apply to York University for their Second-Entry Nursing program.

Any advice? Is this a good plan?

Hiya!

What year are you in at Ry? (I was there for a short while in the fall, that's why).

As for 2nd entry at York, you have to check to make sure you can even apply. Some nursing schools will not allow you to apply if you are currently in a nursing program, so you may have to drop out in order to do so. And if you do drop out, you have to make sure that whatever work you did this year won't still be considered as 'in a nursing program'. Check the York pre-reqs as well, they have quite a few. Hope that helps!
