seattle central pre reqs

Hello all, question..has anyone applied and got in to seattle central cc bridge program? on their website says prereqs can only be taken with 2 attempts. has anyone took a prereq 3 times? i took a&p1 3x, i ended up dropping one so i had to retake to get an A. insights will be great. im thinking about applying for the summer quarter2011. thanks :)

Several of my good friends and co-workers are currently in the LPN to RN Program at Seattle Central. They love the program, say it's very organized and thorough, and are having amazing clinical rotations!! As for the pre-reqs, I'm not sure. I attend North Seattle and I'm currently in their LPN to RN program. Our policy is two attempts at a course in the past 5 years, that's it. They are very strict when it comes to their policy. Good luck :)

I am in the same boat as you unfortunately.

My first two times i was 15 and in running start. my counselor had bypassed the prereqs and put me in the class telling me that i would do fine despite not having ever done chem, bio , or any college lever course work before. Now, thanks to his mistake, i may never get into an RN program. 5 years later, i took it, passed it, and applied. They told me point blank. We will never accept you since you have taken A&P 3x. No matter what the reason and no appeals process. I dont know if in the last 2 years they have considered an appeals process or not. but to my knowlege, even if it was 10 years ago, they will not allow you into the program. If you hear anything different, Please let me know! i would be really interested in applying again. Good luck!
