SDSU or CSUSM BSN program?

hello, i am a transfer from palomar college and i need help deciding what school i have a chance to get into with these grades. I dont really care what school it is as long as its a CSU. My main goal is csusm but with points i only get up to 48 points. Second would be sdsu. Last question is CSUSM or SDSU easier to get into?

OVERALL GPA: 3.52

Preq GPA: 3.61

TEAS V: 85%

Thank you

The point cutoff for CSUSM for Fall 2011 was 52 points.

I don't really know what my points were for SDSU, but my stats were:

Overall GPA 3.6

Prereq GPA: 3.79

TEAS IV: 88%

I don't really know what the cutoff was either.

I didn't get accepted to CSUSM but I got into SDSU's nursing program.

Does anybody know if SDSU is still accepting TEAS IV scores for this semester?

I'm applying to both SDSU and CSUSM this year.

@Umad- Hello I applied to SDSU nursing program for fall of 2012 do you think 74 points will be enough to get in? I'm so worried and nervous. SDSU is my number one school out of the four that i applied to. Did you get into Spring of 2012? Thank you for your time.

Both SDSU and CSUSM use a point system for admission, but the points are assigned differently. For example, SDSU awards points for volunteering and health care work experience, but CSUSM does not.

Application procedures and deadlines depend on what type of program you are applying to. For example, CSUSM has an ABSN program, but SDSU does not. CSUSM's ABSN program does not have a deadline for applying, but both schools do have deadlines for their undergraduate BSN programs.

CSUSM does not apply an expiration date to courses taken. I'm not sure about SDSU on that one, but nearly all other schools do have some sort of expiration period.

So you really have to calculate your points according to each school's system and see where you stand. Or just spend the money and apply to both and see what happens.
