Science Section on the Teas...

I am preparing to take the TEAS in a few weeks and would like some advice from those who have taken it. I took the practice test and did pretty good in everything but the science portion. Like I really bombed! There is just such a wide array of science questions, I just don't know how or what to study?? From reading other posts on here (thanks!) the ATI book isn't that great when it comes to the science stuff, so if you did well on the science section, what did you use to study? Websites? other study guides? I am not asking for answers just tips! :redbeathe TIA!!!!

I know a lot of people used the McGraw Study Guide... I can send it to you if you want. PM me your e-mail address.

The TEAS is designed to test knowledge of Sophomore-Level science, English, and math abilities. If you have taken and got at least a 'B' the intro-level of each of these areas, you should be just fine.

I think most people who fear taking a particular test are suffering not from a lack of knowledge to succeed, they're actually dealing with test anxiety.

Test anxiety is another thing... practice as closely as possible the situation to acclimate yourself to it. Personally, math makes me jittery. I get a mental block when I see numbers. So a Math Test - really made me nervous. So what I did, was grabbed a notebook and did practice problems as much as possible, just to no longer feel nervous about doing math.
