Does anyone know what science courses are required in order to calculate the science gpa. I have taken A&P I and II, Bio, Micro, Chem, Nutrition. I plan on going to Towson University to get my BSN and im not sure as to how they calculate the science gpa. I have a 3.2 cum. In my science courses i have a B in A&P I, A in A&P II, B in Bio, B in Micro, A in the lab, A in Chem, and a B in Nutrition, can anyone calculate the gpa?

Nutrition isn't usually counted as a science class.
We need to know the number of credits for each of the other classes to calculate gpa.
Oh ok thanks, here are the number of credits..
Chem 3 credits A
Lab 1 credit A
Bio 3 credits B
Lab 1 credit B
A&P I 3 credits B
A&P II 3 credits A
Micro 3 credit B
your science gpa is 3.45
Each A = 4.0 points
Each B = 3.0 points
You have 9 credits of A, so (9 x 4.0)
and 11 credits of B, so (11 x 3.0)
(9 x 4.0) + (11 x 3.0) = 36 + 33 = 69 points
69 points earned over 20 credits earned is 69 divided by 20 = 3.45
Boy, is it hard to work a math problem gracefully in this kind of forum, I hope it ended up making sense.
Thank you so much, i really appreciate it, now i know how to do it :)
