School and working

I'm starting the LPN program in a couple of months. I want to continue to work but I heard it's impossible to do both, not to mention I have 4 kids to take care of and a household with bills! Do I have anyone who's in my shoes or was before to help me out with advise?

Now that you're a nursing student (or soon to be one), you should consider a more anonymous presence on the internet ...at least with anything that relates to school or work. That means no "real" picture and no real name (if Kay happens to be your real name). They should teach you this in school, but go ahead and get a head start. You might want to vent someday, and you don't want your boss or any of your co-workers to come across it.

I was only able to work six hours a week while I was in school and I didn't have kids. I know people who worked 40+ hours a week and did have kids, though ...so it's possible to do both. Hopefully you have some family to lean on, too.

Good luck and congratulations!!

Thanks on the advise! And I've been meaning to change my pic lol!!
