School Schedule for LAHC

I have just been accepted to the 2 year RN program at Los Angeles Harbor College. I'll be moving with my family from Northern CA to SoCal, so I need to get organized fast! I am trying to get some idea of what the schedule will be like for school so that I can arrange child care, etc. for my daughter. If anybody has any info, please let me know. Thanks in advance :D

I looked at the courses for the first semester and based on the Fall schedule for those classes, it seems that the school day is generally somewhere between 10am and 7pm, but it varies from one day to the next.

They have elective courses that they recommend but are not part of the core nursing courses. Have you taken any of them? Like Pharmacology and Math of Drugs and Solutions?

I haven't taken Pharmacology or Math of Drugs and Solutions. Are those listed under nursing or somewhere else in the class schedule? Do we have to take those in the first semester?

They are in the nursing section of the schedule. The elective courses are Nursing 301, 302, and 364.

They're not required but "strongly recommended". And reading through old threads here, it seems like people took them before getting into the program. I'm not sure how much time we'll have to take on additional classes on top of the regular course load. I might try to take at least one of those classes since I have zero healthcare experience.

Here's the page with info about each course:
