I can graduate in the fall if I feel like it (undergrad), but only would want to do so if I can find an accelerated nursing program that starts in the spring (already have all the pre-reqs). So far the only one I have found in FL is USF and that is a 5 semester program that runs from SPring 06- Summer 07. Everything else starts in the summer 06 and runs until summer 07. I really do not like the idea of taking 5 months off of school, but I am really sick of gainesville and just want to get OUT! I am willing to go anywhere for the program really and was wondering if anyone knew of any other programs that started earlier than summer?

We have a couple of accelerated schools in Michigan. Grand Valley State University in West Michigan, Oakland University in East Michigan. Those are the two I know of. I know GVSU accepts students every semester. http://www.gvsu.edu/kcon/ this is their nursing website. http://www.gvsu.edu/kcon/index.cfm?id=DBCBE70D-E5A3-724F-9C594D5B70941620 Here's the link for their 2nd degree students. Hope this helps!

They've had an accelerated program since like 1975 or something so obviously they know what they are doing. I graduate from CU in August and the pace is crazy fast and you never stop moving but I've learned a ton and feel fairly well prepared. The prereqs aren't too bad and they have classes starting every August and January. If you're interested though you should think about applying by this summer (July-ish)...pm me if you want more info but the website is www.creighton.edu (and just look up nursing)I'd be graduating wwith a degree in psych and am looking for an accelerated nursing program that I can complete in less than 2 years, get some work experience, and then apply to CRNA schools
