Scholarships

I am going to be starting nursing school next fall and it is very expensive. I am looking (and have been for a while) at scholarships but they never lead anywhere.

I have a 4.0 and am a single mom. I am told that I should qualify for numerous scholarships but where do I find them?? I am on FastWeb already and have been for a long time with absolutely no luck.

Please help :)

    Do you live in California? My friend is a single mom, and she gets over $10k a year through the CalGrant.

    depending on your income, you may be able to get the nurse corps scholarship - keep in mind that this comes with a commitment to serve in a critical shortage facility after graduation, for double the number of years that you receive aid. It's a pretty sweet deal though, I think, because you graduate debt free and when you start working in the CSF you get the same benefits and pay as any new hire.
