SCCC LPN PROGRAM

Hey everyone! I recently applied to Suffolk county community college LPN program. I applied for RN as well but think I am much more likely to get into LPN and I am very excited about it! Was wondering if anyone can give me an idea about how the program works (days/times), clinicals etc. would appreciate any input from my fellow students 😊 Thanks

Moved to the LPN Nursing Student forum.

I am not sure how to get to the Lpn student forum, but I also applied to both programs but think I will be picked for LPN program, I am obviously not sure if I will get in but what I have learned is that it is Mon-thurs for may-june 9-1130 or 9-1245 then you are off july and august then back in sept mon-thurs and same for spring. The first classes are dosage and foundations.

Yea 5 week summer session which is awesome because you still basically have off the summer! Also curious what they pay LPN's?? í ½í¸¬

My friend is a new grad making 30 an hour, day shift at a rehab facility. 30/32 seems like what I have been hearing. And yes that schedule works perfect for me because I have kids and need July and August off í ½í¹‚

does anyone know the hours of the LPN program and is it flexible.. part time & full time ? & I have about a 61 on the rubric I am hoping that I can get in does anyone know if this program is a difficult one to get into?
