Hello everyone. I am applying for San Bernardino Valley College in Fall 2019. I just want to know who are in the same boat. Let's chat and get to know each other. Thank you. Good luck all

Before the HESI; I have 42 points.

Anyone with less than 40 points here and also got an invite?

How is everyone studying for the HESI? I have the Elsevier book and the pocket prep. And I am low key freaking out....I dunno if there is enough time to study. How many hours are you guys studying a day?

I’m using the Elsevier book along with whatever resources I can find online. Also trying to study as much as possible after work. The exam being on a Friday really threw me off.

It's next Friday tho, the 19th. I got the A2 pocket prep and a study guide book. But to be honest I haven't really studied at all! With my current classes and work and kids I cant really focus.

You should at least run through the practice test one time to see what u need improving on.

For some reason, it seems awfully quiet in these SBVC threads for Fall 2019. Am I missing something? ?

Nothing in particular, just that by this time the forums are really active. How is all the studying going?

i know it's been really quiet lol, i guess everyone is busy and waiting on replies from all the programs. I am studying as much as i can, not enough really. I am focusing more on science and vocab. Chem and Physics wont be on the test right?

No Chem and No physics; Thank goodness!!! I just nailed down memorizing the conversions for math. Khan academy really helps with brushing up of basic math and conversions.

How are people studying for the grammar section? Any places I should look online?

P.S. The only thing that we need to bring for the test is our ID (DL license, etc.) and the our login information right?

Good Luck Studying! We got this guys!!!! ;D

I just take a lot of practice test. I haven’t even looked at the math! So we need to remember the conversion? They won’t give It to us? That sucks!
