Good morning!

Safe travels to those on the road and out and about.

No early morning insomnia today. Got up at 5:30 to feed Waffles and give her eye drops and we went back to bed until about 8:30. Seems I only have insomnia on work days.

Anyway, I'm having coffee and waking up. Not much on the agenda but laundry and the gym. I might find a recipe to meal prep some chicken or might make some tofu.

We had ice cream Sundays at work yesterday in honor of Health Care Week and it was good. That was a test to my GI system and I seem fine. The foods I eliminated dairy, gluten and eggs have been added back with little effect. I've added a small amount of soy and when I eat the tofu that will be the final test on that one. Now you know.

I just earned the a "Conversation Starter" badge with this post. Rock on

Hi Tweety, thanks for starting the thread, I seems to be having technical difficulties with the site

Yesterday went well, picked up Dad and drove downstate, no problems or bad weather except some areas with a lot of construction

We had dinner at my aunt's, my cousin was able to come too

Today we'll be doing some things in a nearby town, thankfully the rain and storms predicted will onlya last part of the morning

Well I got the beef stew made, and cooked the Brussels sprouts for a side dish, instead of in the stew. It all came out very tasty. Then I de-boned the chicken thighs I had steamed, and put together chicken, rice, and mushrooms, then after that was cooked I dumped the remaining cooked Brussels sprouts on top of it, and that also was good. I am making a LOT more dishes to wash! But I don't mind cooking "from scratch" for myself. In fact I already have some more meals in mind once I get the freezer a little less full! (Also spend less $$ on groceries this way by cooking what I can eat for several meals!)

What do I have to do today? Of course, get dressed, walk Tinker! And there are a few other little things, all which can wait for when I am "inspired".

I went to bed earlyish last night too, but a little later than the two previous nights. I'm planning NOT to stay up until 2 or 3 AM as I had been doing, because it feels good to wake up and be awake when I do wake up (!) instead of grogging through a couple of hours before I am really awake.

Did I tell y'all that Tinker got out yesterday AGAIN? The young kid next door ran after her and got her attention at the 7th house down the street! Thank goodness she is a dog that loves everybody because she went right to him and let him pick her up and bring her back to me. I am going to have to start being super-diligent about where she is when I open the doors to outside. She has a habit of always standing right behind me, so I gotta keep an eye on her. But when I turn around, she moves so she is in back of me again!

I feel pretty good, the GYPSIES have stayed relatively bearable. I haven't had to talk to SiL In a week or so; hope she doesn't call and apologize for not being in touch. I won't say anything unkind, but I don't feel 'ignored' AT ALL! 😀

I have read you, and will talk with you later~

Got home this afternoon and immediately laid down for a nap.the hotel bed and pillows were less than great for the last 3 nights. Dh had been busy while I was gone. The kitchen is clean and there were clean sheets on the bed. It apparently rained most of the time I was gone, but now it's sunny. The dogs curled up with me earlier, but now they are doing zoomies in and out the back door. It's mild enough to leave the heat off and the door open.

Stars, have you thought about attaching a line between 2 fixed points and using a cable hooked to that for your dog? Our neighbors do that for their dog.
