Hi @Niknik718
I am also applying to the spring 2018
ADN program
I'm planning on turning in my application on Friday 7/14
So far I have
1301:A
2301:B
2302:B
2320:B
My hesi I take tomorrow which if I get a 86%-90% that's 6 points
And GPA is 3.44
Which would make my rubric a 19
Seems low to the overall 27 just praying to get in this semester. Good luck to you.
Hello@ angelboys3
Omg can you keep me posted on your scores and let me know how things turn out. I applied to the ADN at central and the LVN AT NORTH Campus. Keep me informed. Oh and my grades for
A&P 1-A
A&P 2-B
Micro- B
English -B
Those are just like my grades! I'll definitely keep you posted. Thanks for creating this thread, it's a great way to communicate through this process. I'm sure you will do wonderful. I spoke to the nursing department and they take in quite a few students compared to other schools. San Jacinito has a good reputation as far as Nursing school goes.

Even though a BLS program is my top choice, I will most likely submit an application to San Jacinto as well.
HESI: 92.8
GPA: ~3.0, but I haven't calculated it just yet. I have over 160 credit hours from 5 different universities & colleges.
Total Score: 23 +/- 1 depending on final GPA calculation.
That's good Brandon_Hare always have a second choice/back up plan. Your scores are awesomeí ½í¸Š

I'm adding additional backup plans this time. I've been denied 6 times over the last 1.5 years, so I've added several schools to my list for 2018. Last count I believe I'm applying to 5 BSN programs and 3 ADN programs for Spring 2018.
Why was you denied? And which schools denied you?omg
It's competitive... each school I applied to had approximately 1,000-1,200 applicants and they accepted 100-120. The only 3 schools I've applied to were UTMB, UTA & UT Health.
I just transferred from UTA. My student advisor tole me I had to pull my "B's" up to "A's" and I took a whole year of trying to change my B to A which messed up my financial aid. I currently have one year of aid left because of that. Now I am desperate to get into any nursing program. If I can help it I would never attend UTA again.

Brandon_Hare!
Me too! We are clearly in this together. LOL. We are kinda taking the same route. Did you apply to UT Health again for this Spring 2018? We got it this time man. Whether its San Jac, UT Health, wherever. I have a good feeling for us. I was waitlisted to three schools. Eventually got into UTA but I couldn't finish chemistry in time to take Patho/Pharm by fall. Bummer. What's everyone else's stats?
My stats are:
HESI: 92
Cumulative: 3.2 (160+ hours)
A's in all prerequisites for San Jac.
Total points: 23.
jfskaggs88 you set the bar. I now know that 23 for San jac adn is it. The lady Ms. Jammer at San Jac Central said that two years ago the persons who had the higher total is the ones who set the bar for incoming students. I'm just praying that it's not that many people who land in the 20's I'm hoping that majority of the people have 18. My score is low compared to yours so I know you are getting in you and Brandon_Hare.
