Hey! That is a great idea to apply to a few programs. Good luck! What kind of experience/coursework do you have In regards to the medical field?? Just curious as to your route into nursing school :)

I don’t have much experience! I only volunteer at a hospital and I’ve taken pharm and the pre req courses. I was originally going to school for health/fitness so I’ve taken other course work relating to anatomy and physio but not much relating to nursing. You??

Hi, I’m reapplying this time with 80 points. I was waitlisted at 76 points. Between Saddleback taking fewer students (went from 60 to 50) and more students applying, it’s getting harder to get into the program. How many points are you applying with? Good luck to you!!

Yeah I hear ya! It’s getting harder and harder each semester! My friend got in for spring 19 with 77 points... she was also waitlisted, I guess the point makes the difference it’s so crazy! I’ll have 82 points when applying! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for us both! Why aren’t you applying to any other program?

That’s awesome experience that will only help you be a stronger candidate! I’ve finished most of the pre-reqs and have some EMT experience. Good luck to you! Keep me posted on your journey!
