Mar 9Mar 9 Just talked with the nursing department receptionist. I asked when decisions would be going out as per submittable it states early march. She put me on hold to find out. She came back on and stated that it would most likely be "unofficially" towards the end of March due to their new system and a record number of applicants. So nervous with my 93 points!
Mar 9Mar 9 Ughhh, not until the end of March?! I don't think you have anything to be worried about with 93 points. I on the other hand have 85 points....):

So nervous with my 93 points! Nervous with my 90 points. I had a feeling this cycle would have a record number given they're changing things.
Mar 17Mar 17 Author did anyone apply with patient care hours from a hospital where your title is patient care technician/patient care assistant rather than "certified nursing assistant"? I was talking to a friend today and they said a counselor told them (no idea if it was recently or way back or misinterpreted etc) that PCT hours do not count toward hours, only CNA or EMT or LVN. I'm thinking ahead to next cycle where they will give points for number of hours - I recently switched from a CNA at a SNF and will be working as a PCT at a hospital doing the *SAME* job, hospital also requires the CNA license to be employable in this position, so it seems fine but this nursing app world has trained us all to be critical thinking crazies. thoughts? experiences? I think this is also my "I want to know about this cycle" anxiety reaching a saturated level.
