Congrats to those who got in! Good luck to the alternates!

I'm officially in!! yay! Can't wait to meet you all! Congratulations!!

I'm in as well. Congrats to everyone and looking forward to meeting you all :)

Hey! Im new to this forum and I got admitted to the program too (yayy), anyways I was wondering if we had to register for classes or do we wait until they email us for further info???

We will be automatically enrolled. I recommend you reread your acceptance letter as it answers your questions.

I'm super curious about what the point cut-off is really going to be after everything shakes out. Has anyone with less than 81 points received an acceptance letter? Have alternates been assigned numbers?

I would guess 76-78. The last two cutoffs were 75 and 76, and it should be higher this time.

Hi everyone!!! I am currently in the nursing program at Sac State and will be going into my second semester in the fall. I wanted to stop by and see if any of you had any burning questions that you needed to be addressed? I'm sure that you have tons because the admittance process can be quite confusing... Just wanted to see if I could be of any assistance because after all, we're all one big nursing family!! Congrats to those who got in!! And to those on the waitlist... don't lose hope! Xo Nicolette

Hi nik1987. Thank you so much for checking in on us newbies. I was actually wondering if you have had any professors who don't allow the use of electronics (laptop, iPad, voice recorders) in class.

I was wondering if books were available as electronic versions as opposed to carrying around heavy books?

All the professors in each class encourage the use of laptops and iPads during class. You are welcome to record their lectures only if you ask the lecturing professor's permission ahead of time. You must ask them permission each time you record, even if they've given you permission in the past.

For your N112 class, I would highly recommend reading through the powerpoint and its presenter notes PRIOR to lecture and possibly condensing the info into a Word doc ahead of time so that you are able to take notes efficiently in class. The lectures move fast based on who is lecturing, and there is A LOT of info covered each lecture.

It is actually a requirement that you buy all of your books as ebooks so that you have them with you at all times. Physical copies of the books are not required but are very helpful as it can be cumbersome to navigate through the ebooks at times.
