Not as a traveler, but I grew up in this town and did my nursing training in this hospital. Poor area, only hospital in two counties, so ER is always, always busy. Probably understaffed at times. On the good side, you'll work with mostly nice people.

I agree! I lived a little over an hour away. A lot of the trauma pts went to Virginia or University Health Systems in Greenville NC. Great area though, few hours from the beach, coastal VA, or DC.
