Hey guys, I'm an RN (with my bachelors degree) in the WNY area and have worked ED for about 5 years now. I have been looking into supplementing my income with something a little less chaotic, like case review, physicals, or telehealth type positions. I can't seem to find much, maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Im looking for solely "work from home" flexible, positions.
Anyone have any experience in any of these areas? Or recommend any companies? Or even just have some pros/cons of these positions? I've looked around at some insurance companies, but I am not looking to work on site seeing as I already have a FT job.
Thanks! ☺ï¸

A work from home position will require a lot of training, mine was 3 months. I have not seen a telecommuting position that is part time. Any company that spends the $$ to train you, will want you to work full time for them.
Have you thought about working full time from home, and doing ER PRN?
Best of luck with your search.

I work from home. My employer is a major insurance company.
Since my time commitment to the work-from-home job is 40 hours per week, my employer (a multinational corporation) would not knowingly hire anyone who planned to maintain full-time employment at the hospital.
