RN Transition to Practice Program

Hello everyone... Anybody in here applied to Lehman College RN Transition to Practice program? How is it going? I just got an email from them 2 days saying I am on the second phase. Yesterday, I got an email from Bellevue Hospital -I got an interview with them....

So anybody in here applied for the program and interviewed at Bellevue? How did it go? This is my first time to interview and I am getting nervous.... Any feedback? I'd really appreciate it!!!! Thank you very much!

Hi,

I just applied last week and got the email on Wednesday that I am on the second phase of the process but no contact from the hospitals yet. They told me this week I should be available to interview.

I have never interviewed as a graduate nurse either...same boat...a little nervous

I got their response on Wednesday also. Got an invitation from the hospital last Friday and asking me of the schedule.

my advice is get ready now. Coz they will interview till April 29. You should get an email from them tomorrow :)

i have yet to receive anything from anybody despite the 2 emails i got. I applied very late (April 18) so maybe thats why. Getting a little nervous.

I applied to the program as well, but during their extension date (April 18). Aside from the 2 emails from Lehman College, I haven't heard from any hospitals. Hope to hear from Bellevue soon, since I did my externship there...

I think they extended the interviews till the 9th of May, but haven't heard from any hospitals yet. I've been checking my emails hoping to see something but nothing.

well hopefully we can all start the program together.

9th of May? do you know where this was stated? I ask because I had to make an emergency trip out of the country and i leave May 10.

Same here with the email, at first I constantly kept my phone at close range, but when I saw that eamjao got notification via email I started with the email. I don't think it would affect your trip, seems like they keep pushing back the start date of this program. When I checked yesterday it was suppose to start by the end of this month now it going to start mid June.

Because I did externship at Bellevue, they still email me about certain events. And it was due to them that I found out about this program. What about you?

Yeah I just checked their website and they moved the time frame. Maybe because it's a pilot program. The interview was brief - how did you find out about this program? I believe it was quick because my interviewer was in a hurry. I don't know with the other candidates..

Oh thanks for the info! I will be coming back the 17th but I guess I should first focus on the interview first...okay that's good to hear.
