Has anyone ever been falsely accused of diversion?? I have been and fighting it for over 5 mos and now 5 addl nurses (1 from my unit!) have also. don't know if they did, and don't care. know i did not. how did you get thru it?? what was your legal strategy on the criminal aspect? BON very supportive and no discipline yet due to the addl 5 nurses with complaints for same thing at same hosp. BON doing full investigation now. Having some weird PTSD stuff with being home alone and answering door (after being arrested). Just too weird. Now getting angry. I was the easy target cuz i worked alone on a weekend program. any ideas, thoughts, direction?? thanks alot.

It sure sounds like a railroad to me! I'm proud of you for standing up and being strong in the face of all this adversity. You obviously have had an execeptional career, I just can't fathom why they are still targeting you after your drug test came back negative!

I'm happy the BON is investigating this! And from what it sounds like, there may in fact be a nurse who has commited a crime, but it sure doesn't sound like it's YOU!

Good for you for getting an attorney to represent you, and for submitting to the additional drug screens (I'm sure at your cost!) Hopefully when all this is over, you'll have back pay and a countersuit to be settled.

Stong thoughts of a positive outcome are one the way for you. Keep on keeping on, and stay employed. You are needed as a nurse. Your eyes are on the prize, and that means keeping your license!

Good luck! :)
