I prefer school in NV, but I do not specify the area.
Thank you.

Washington State University. They don't keep a waiting list, you just have to have good grades and pass an interview to be accepted.

I would start contacting local schools and ask about their admission programs. That would be the best way to do it in the area that you will want to be in. Many schools are doing away with the waiting list in favor of a competitive points process. I was one of the last ones to be accepted for the waiting list and the school moved through the waiting list very fast because they wanted to go to the points.
The points can work both in your favor and against. If the school is popular, then the competitive top applications will be accepted with zero guarantee that you will be accepted at all. Like my school will accept 100 applicants each semester (75 for main campus and 25 for the satellite campus). Applicants apply in January for fall and in June for January. A lot of people do not get in.
Otherwise, you could also look into newer programs.
