RN to paramedic

Has anyone went on to become a paramedic after working as an RN? I am a new flight nurse and think 1 would benefit from a paramedic course.

That's a hefty commitment of time and money. Are you sure that job-related professional certifications/courses wouldn't give you what you're looking for?

I'm sure there is a lot of useful info in certification courses, I'm just thinking I would get more hands on learning in a paramedic course..

Did you do an RN to paramedic bridge program?

Are you not getting the kind of experiences you want in your work as a flight nurse?

My RN experience has been in the Er and ICU, I have never been a first responder. I have yet to have a scene flight, I want to be good at my job
