RN or nurses aid?

I'm not sure if this is a serious question or not but just in case it is... An RN is a registered nurse... he/she has had several years of schooling and is required to pass a state licenseing exam in order to work. The RN has knowledge of many diseases and their process as well as medications and treatments for those diseases. This is just the tip of the iceburg as far as what an RN is. As for a nurses aid, he/she is trained to help the nurses help the patients with the activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, walking, etc. He/she is very helpful to the nurse because they spend a lot of time with the patients and can make the RN or LPN aware of a potential problem or need that the patient has. A good nurses aid becomes an RN or LPN's extra set of eyes, ears and hands. I hope this answered your question.
