Nursing in my number one goal, but I am strss-proned. Is this a good career choice? I applied to Respiratory therapy and got in-- is that any better? There are less chances to move up and less variety, but is it less stressful? Also teaching is an option I dont know what to do! I hear of a lot of nurses I know gettin burnt out, but on the other hand there are more places to go (school nurse... etc.) I am drawn to healthcare, but I dont know if I can keep up, Im also not bad, but not great with my GPA so Id probably have to stay and re-do some classes and that would hurt my chances of getting into nursing school. Is it worth it?

Im thinking about doing that... is anyone here work in that area? If so, what are your jobs like?

I took AI&II this semester and dropped out (like I said earlier) because it was mainly for kines and I really didnt feel like I was learning anything. I think CC would be m ore catered to what I need as a nurse, right?

OKAY, I've already DROPPPED AnatomyI&II. The teacher and tests was ridiculous and i was NOT going to let him trick us on the test and have me fail. so I am taking A&P I at community college next semester - do you guys think that will transfer to a major university?

Whats the difference between a registered nurse and the nurse aid?

I am deciding whether to go to community school my frashman year of college or a university. I got into a university, but I want to transfer into a four-year nursing school my sophmore year. Do you think it will matter where I go for the first year? Will I have a good chance of getting into a good nursing school if Im not at, and socially involved in a university? I know that many nurses go to community college and they get great educations and in the end, we all take the same test. its just that there is no entry test into another college. Also, at a university I can be involved in things

I know how to become a NP. So say, for instance, that I want to become a surgical PA - Where do I start? Is there a certain PA school and how long is it? (People say PA is a popular job in the hospital but Ive never seen one on the DHealth channel or in hospitals). It doesnt seem as popular so I am having a hard time finding info on it about HOW to become one. I know its a masters degree (right?). SORRY I have so many questions! I just want to see what's out there....

Are they common in hospitals? I want to do more surgery-type, so are they in surgery as well, or is that completely different!? (There seems like SO many different jobs in a hospital!)

What's the difference between Nurse Practitioners & Physician's Assistants. Also, What route of education would you goto get both of those. I know you have to go to nursing school and become a RN and go back to school for a NP. What about PA?

Are nurses treated badly by doctors and surgeons? Ive heard they are sometimes...
