Rn to MSN online programs

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

I am currently looking into RN to MSN online programs with a Family Nurse Practioner focus. I have spoken to advisors at both Chamberlain and Aspen. Still haven't spoken to Grand Canyon, as of yet. These three programs seem to be at the top of my list, so far. However, I am open to other options under the right circumstances. Is anyone familiar with these programs? Any thoughts on them? Anyone pleased with others? If so, which ones? I know it is a lot of uestions, but I just want to make the right choice. I hve n ADN and many years of work experience. Here in Michigan, there are some brick and mortar programs. I had started the Ferris RN to BSN online program but had to stop after one semester due to health issues. Now that I am going back, I have been doing a lot of research. Was not completely comfortable with Ferris and I am no stranger to online learning. I have found that for the cost and other things...there are better programs out there. Just need to find the right one for me.

Well, I am still waiting to contact Grand Canyon. Had to work all last week, so was unable to. Decisions, decisions. Aspen didn't have a FEW masters track, so I would have to get my DNP. Not opposed was just hoping to wait a bit for that. Still looking for any advice on these schools or maybe others. Thank you in advance for any wisdom you can share.
