RN.com Basic Medication Administration Exam-RN...Help!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum...just got hired for my first job and have to take the rn.com Basic Medication Administration Exam. I had been studying for the NLN exam but I guess the hospital switched over; so my test date has been rescheduled and I'm about to start studying, again, for the RN.com test.

Has anyone taken this test? Did they find any particular book helpful? Any words of wisdom?

Thanks so much for your help!

- a stressed, new nurse!

I am having the same problem. Do you know if there is a practice test like the one for the NLN? All I've been studying is the study guide for the RN.com but I feel like its not preparing me enough :(

Oh, for heaven's sake. Didn't you have to pass basic algebra to get into nursing school, pass NCLEX with med questions, and pass nursing school with med arithmetic questions? Why are you stressing about one more chance to demonstrate what you ought to know perfectly well by now?

That doesn't help @nurseprnRN. We just want to make sure we pass so we don't screw our chances at this job!

You might want to check the dates before you post a response. The one you commented on was made over three years ago. I'm sure they've moved on to other issues by now.;)
