RN-BSN @ WGU

I have my ADN from 2009 and I am really considering getting my RN-BSN degree from WGU. I just had my transcripts evaluated and I have 44 credits to do at WGU. How many of you have had success in getting this many credits done in a fairly decent amount of time? I would like to do it in a year to minimize MORE student loan debt :/

44 credits in a year or less is extremely doable at WGU. I completed my BSN at WGU last October. I started the RN to BSN program April 2015 with 55 credits to complete. I finished in six months and one week while working a full-time job. Put your nose to the grindstone and work your tail off and you can easily finish in six months.

Good luck to you!

I took 10 months to complete 34 credits. Another frequent poster (featherzrn) completed 50+ credits in less than four months.

Wether or not it's doable depends a lot on you (prior experience, work schedule, home life). I completed 40 credits in 11 months working part time with a very busy home life. Good luck.
