RN to BSN schools

Published

So I was not required to take a Chemistry class in order to receive my ADN degree. However, times have changed, and it seems I now require Chemistry for all the BSN degrees I am finding. Chemistry would require me to actually go back to school rather than take the class online. This is a little difficult with my work having a nursing shortage right now. I found UT tyler online which states that if we didn't require Chemistry for our Associate's then it will be waived for our Bachelor's. This would be great for me, but I'm wondering how great of a school UT Tyler is. Is it worth it? Anyone recommend it? Any other suggestions? Thanks

I know nothing about that school but wanted to say I took an online chemistry class through Clovis Community College that was accepted at Ohio University for my chem requirement. I would highly recommend them if the credit is accepted.

I took and passed Biochemistry online as part of the RN-to-BSN program for Western Governors University. It was not that bad at all. I passed it in three weeks. I would estimate it was taught at about a high school degree of difficulty.
