rn-bsn program

:heartbeati am doing well in my online rn-bsn program. i am getting decent grades 90 and above--- and i feel blessed. i have a good job, rn tittle and working towards my much wanted bsn program.

although i was in a bsn program back in 2005-- and did not make it through-- i am glad in a way that now i don't have $40k loans to pay, and did not have that much of workload in my asn pogram. geesh, i had a baby during my asn program....... that takes a full time job!!

anywho, i am here if anyone wants info on fiu rn-bsn program!!

I think that this is a great school.

because it's a state school, they do require you to have 2 years of foreign language, but they waive it if you had it in high school--- which I did, they take you in as long as you have your AA in general education for pre-nursing --- which I did while I was on the waiting list for my ASN program----and they take you in as long as you have your license in your hands.

so it's not bad at all, lots of writings so far. I am taking 2 classes and I am doing well thank God.

I have a few questions about the FIU program. I am looking for something online and reasonably priced. This seems to generally meet my criteria other than the clinical components. Do you know if these need to be done locally or do you make arrangements in your own area? Even though the program is online, it seems to be geared more for locals. My ADN is from a Florida community college, I am a legal Florida resident and I hold an active RN license there but do not currently live in state due to my husband being active duty military. I could get there occasionally if necessary but not on a regular weekly basis. So anyway, is the admission process entirely online or must you interview in person? How expensive are the Excelsior exam components? Any info you can provide on the program would be appreciated.

Any south University BSN graduate's ? how is the program, how long did it take you to finish?... i need feedback about the program.

hi

the program is definitely is priced right compared to private unitersities.

its not necessarily directed toward locals because you do not have to be there each week. one of my classes, it was required an oncampus demonstration test, one semester.

the ec exams are about $300 a piece. there are 3 ec exams to be taken.

there is one interview with the admissions people before you get accepted into the program.
