As soon as I complete my RN degree we will be moving to the Tulsa area (I'm from OK). I want to continue my education for my BSN degree. The plan is for me to start working as soon as we get to Tulsa with my RN, but what would be the best school to achieve my BSN while working full-time? I have a husband and 2 young children, so I'm assuming online classes would be the best route? Has anyone taken BSN online classes? What school's would be the best option(s)?? Thank you for your input!

Hi BabyNurse

I'm just a few weeks away from getting my BSN at Chamberlain College of Nursing. It took me a year to get my BSN, but that's with me going full-time, not working at all. It's a great school, fully accredited. It used to be Deaconess School of Nursing. It's based out of St. Louis. Send me a private message if you want to know more. :)

Here's a very good thread in the online nursing student forum: https://allnurses.com/forums/f125/rn-bsn-online-105380.html

I did my BSN online from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences and it was a good experience.

Good luck!

Im half way through an online BSN program through WSU. I work full time and go to school full time but I do not have children. Its tough doing two full time jobs but I manage and still get good grades. So I say go for it if you have the drive.
