Risk Manager - is it worth it?

I am thinking of taking the course to become a Licensed healthcare Risk Manager. I have 18 years insurance experience. If there are any Risk Managers out there can you tell me how you like it? Any advice is appreciated.

I am not a risk manager but my former manager took a promotion to be one. She loves it......8-4, M-F, interesting enough that she's not bored.
