So I am retaking the TEAS this Friday. I took it last Friday and received a 82%. I am not happy about that score. I was aiming for a 90% at least, in all areas. My pre req GPA is great (3.83/4.0 science only including o-chem) but my overall GPA is really low (3.15+)and the schools I am applying to look at Pre req GPA, overall GPA and TEAS score (some look at certain areas like English/Reading, some look at overall and some look at combination). I need at least 2 GOOD parts of my application to be competitive enough. Since GPA can't be raised enough without the luxury of time, I want a better TEAS score. That way my really good pre-req along with a really good TEAS score can make up for my slowly rising overall GPA.
Anyone have any tips to raise it? I am just taking a break from studying my weaknesses. I am glad they give print out of what you lacked on the test. I had a few spots where I got 100% of questions right. I don't like the fact that in one section there is 3 problems and if you miss even one of those problems, your percentage is a 66% for that section!
So with hopes of studying my weakness along with the fact that they give you the same test as you took before will hopefully increase my score.
My weakest spot was reading, especially the comprehension. The questions they ask and the choices given, in my opinion, all said the same thing in different ways. So I will do what I can to learn enough to raise my score.
