retaking classes and other concerns

Many colleges (mine included) won't accept A&P that is older than 5 years. Anyone's opinion on here is going to be just that - an opinion. Only you and the advisor you spoke with know your GPA, educational background, and the requirements of where you are applying.

As for working fulltime as a flight attendant: how would you work out the logistics of that?? Even if you were back home every night, I'm doubtful but who knows? Maybe your apartment/house is right next to the airport. Maybe you might hear from some other people who have successfully worked fulltime while in nursing school and they can tell you how it worked for them.

I worked full time while in nursing school but it is very hard. If you are subject to being on-call with your job you will eventually run into problems. If you fly domestic and have a regular schedule I say go for it. You will be able to quit later if needed and get a job doing SOMETHING till graduation.

At a guess, I would say that it may be very difficult to work as a flight attendant while attending nursing school. With labs, clinicals, lectures and studying, adding air traveling to this would be a nightmare for me. If your position is flexible enough to allow for this, then, try. It would be challenging for me.

You should def. retake a&p, I have herd of people being embarassed at clinicals for not knowing the proper name for a body part and being told they need to brush up on their anatomy. You can knock it out this summer is you plan well, and that way your not punishing through 3-4 months of a regular semester of info you know. Plus it's a nice refresher. Good luck!
