Resurrection University

This might be a stupid question but I want to know everything about Resurrection University before I apply for their nursing 16-month program.

First, how would employers look on the accelarated program? Are tradituonal BSN graduates preferred over the ones who graduated from a 16-month program?

Second, I know that Resu is fully accredited. Would I have any problem getting a job in California after graduation?

    "Accredited" means that the school has only met minimum standards of quality. It is not in itself a Good Housekeeping seal of approval of excellence. That goes for CCNE accredited schools too. Try looking up this place on (collegescorecard.ed.gov). Many schools fought a long battle with the Department of Education to suppress this publication. As it stands this is a watered down version of the scorecard beacause the DoE wanted to give schools letter grades (A-F), and they freaked out.

    So much for a student's right to know.

    Do an internet search and be very careful where you go. Lots and lots of money on the line.

    What you are saying is that I should be very careful where I go to school if I am planning on getting a job in a different state (and it will be my first job in a medical field=no experience). Oh, this is more complicated than I expected. I thought nursing degree is a nursing degree and I should be able to eventually land a job whereever I decide to study.
