Resume's

My husband and I have interviews for different nursing positions this Friday. I told him yesterday "I need to fix up my resume". I had one, and we got a new computer, so I need to redo it. I asked him if he was going to do his, he said no.

Would you do a resume? I have done one for the interviews I've done before (and I've gotten the job each time also). To me, I think it shows that I'm prepared, took time to do that, and will give them something tangible to remember me by. After the interview, I sent thank you notes also (not sure if husband will do that). I don't know what his rationale is, but I guess he doesn't think it's worth it (he doesn't think he's done much, and I think he has).

I would never enter an interview without a resume. This URL has several really good examples of nursing resumes, even for people who "don't have experience".

Thanks guys! That is what I thought too. It's not like it used to be when I first start (a mere 4 years ago) when you applied for the job and unless it was very specialized, you got it. There are hospitals an hour away that are not hiring anymore, and there are people moving from out of state just to work at this place!
