Results on Hold

The explanation is simple: a Hold is placed for a variety of reasons, and when it is lifted (typically 24-72 hours) your results will be made available.

A hold can be placed for a palm scan or fingerscan that did not "take" immediately, required multiple swipes. Or finishing more quickly than deemed average. Or for a power glitch at the testing center. Or for frequent breaks, or questions about the validity of someone ELSE's test at the same site.

NOTHING you can do. Wait for the hold to be lifted, and if you have the option of paying eight bucks for official results via QR, do so.

Last time I failed at 130 questions, and I didn't feel confident after the exam. I felt confident after finishing with 75, but I'm not sure the waiting is so difficult

It doesn't. But there is a quality assurance system in place that will "flag" any anomaly, to make sure that the test's validity can be verified. Sometimes people know immediately what it was that got them "on hold", sometimes it has absolutely NOTHING to do with them, so they don't.

It usually takes 24 hours to hold. Do not worry about it. Like others have stated, it can really just because you lifted your hand too quick from the scanner or something. They rather be safe than sorry for whining out a nursing license that allows a person to care for the public which is theirs and ours number one concern. Wait after 24 hours and see if that hold lifts up. Keep us updated & good luck!

Do people get results on a Saturday? I have heard that even though Pearson Vue says 48 business hours, there are people that have gotten the quick results on a saturday or sunday

It's been several years ago but I got my results on a Sunday morning. But again things may have changed since then.

Yes, Saturdays & Sundays as well as holidays you can access your QuickResults if your State participates.

I got my NCLEX-PN quick results on a Sunday and my NCLEX-RN on a Saturday. I have friend who got theirs on Federal holidays.

So I ended up getting my quick results this morning and passed!!!! How long does it take for my license to appear on the NY state board of professions website? I still do not see it. The quick results are 100% accurate right?
