I'm probably a glutton for punishment (I am in nursing school so that's definitely true) but I was wondering what would be helpful to get a jump on studying for the NCLEX while in nursing school.
I just finished the first quarter so although I know 150% more than I did before starting the program, I'm certainly far from having the full knowledge to take the test. Any assistance would be helpful!
On a side-note, I do plan on purchasing the Saunder's review book (6th edition I believe) so I will have that as another resource.
Thanks in advance!

Saunders is a good source. Have you asked your Instructor what materials they suggest?

There a lot of resources when you need any --especially online resources. Here, I'll list down some of the resources that will help you with whatever you need to learn about. There's HURST, Kaplan, Saunders, and NCSBN Learning Extension online which can help you on how to tackle test questions via the NCLEX-style format.
Here are the links:

Most nursing schools mandate Saunders or another review book from the beginning, mine had us buy Saunders and a book called test taking strategies. If your school doesn't suggest anything, I would suggest those two. The others mentioned here are all good resources, but I wouldn't buy the online Kaplan or Hurst review yet because they are expensive and you would need to buy them again when you are actually studying for the exam.
There's a cheaper one called NCSBN's Learning Extension. There's a 3-week, 5-week, 7-week, and 15-week subscription. The three-week course is only $50. For me, that's so worth it. But then, you'll only have it for three weeks and once it expires, you're gonna need to pay again.
Thanks for all the help! I haven't asked my instructors their suggestions yet but we're on break now and I was going to in person when we get back. Some of the resources we have through the program are a bit all over the place on the material so I was trying to find something more concise (preferably online).

NCSBN Learning Extension offers lots of free resources. It posts a question (from the review course) every week on its website. Every other week there's a podcast for the question of the week, explaining why the correct response is the best response. There's also a free Medication Flashcards app.
