Resignation decision

I am going to resign from a job I have held for only 3 months, but I have only been at the school I work for 2 times. I instruct clinicals for them 1.5 hrs away for their students who live in this region. I am not sure how to proceed. Do I have to give resignation in person ( I am not even sure who to give it to as the directors are changing and the school never contacts me with any new information)? Can I use email (this is the only way they communicate with me)? I appreciate any help!

    Do you have a mailing address for them? I would send a certified letter, return receipt requested, to their mailing address. Additionally I would email, and call, if they are expecting you to show up somewhere on a certain date. My last effort would be to go in person, if you knew where to go. Use all methods and they should get the message. Best wishes.

    I agree with caliotter3. I'd add to think about why you want to leave and what, if anything, they could change that would make it worth staying. Maybe there is nothing they could change but you want to think about it ahead of time just in case. It sounds like what you envisioned for the job doesn't match the reality. I wish you better luck on your next one.

    If you're teaching clinicals, is the semester over? If it isn't over, might your quitting mean the students screech to a stop in their studies? Do you have a contract you'd be breaking?
