Research Topic Ideas

Hi everyone! I just received my letter today for acceptance into our Honors program. This means I have to (for the next four semesters) work on research (among other obligations). If I know of a topic I'd like to research, I can tell the director and be able to research it.

I know there are thoughts we all formulate and ponder from time to time, some of which could make for a great research topic. Please let me know any and all ideas you all have. I thank all of you in advance!

God bless!

You do not indicate what venue your research needs to be: clinical, management, education??? When I was doing research for my masters I ran across an article that asked patients, nurses and doctors what they thought the role of a nurse was. The study was old, they did have a measurement tool, never found if it was replicated, but sure sounded interesting. Good luck.

Although the director hasn't addressed the topic, I'm going to step out on a limb and say it needs to be clinical; however, I actually have no idea. All I was told concerning the topic was that I needed to pick one. I'm sorry for the lack of information, but I will pass it along as I am told. Thank you for your reply, though.

Any particular specialties interest you? Potential career paths?
