I started studying for the exam around the 1st week of October (about 2 hours a day). Since last week, I studied for longer hours.
I finished the LaCharity PDA part 2 (chapters 1-18). I answered 497 and got an average of 61%.
I finished the Saunders Strategies book. Part 3 of the book had 200 practice questions and got an average of 81%.
Kaplan strategies book. Answered 220 questions and got 71%. (Haven't taken the comprehensive yet)
Saunders comprehensive review book. For fundamentals section I got 68%. Maternity 65%. Mental health 75%. Peds 55%. Then I worked on the adult health. And that's when I started to freak out. The questions were definitely harder and it became too overwhelming. I only have about a week left before my exam. And now I dont know if I should just go ahead and take it or reschedule it.
Any advice on nclex review books?
Thank you! I felt like I needed to post here and maybe it will relieve some anxiety. I'm so stressed that I wasnt able to do any studying today.

I think you are in good shape. You used various amounts of NCLEX prep. You are scoring high on all of the prep you are using. I personally think PDA is the bible of nclex prep and is the reason I passed. No one ever feels "READY" for the NCLEX.
Thank you. I ended up not rescheduling my exam. I am taking it on Wednesday. I'm planning on taking a break tomorrow the day before the exam. But I don't know. I took the Kaplan comprehensive exam yesterday and got 66%. I did more practice questions today but it seems like I'm just getting worse. And I still need to review the rationales for that Kaplan comp exam. This is really stressful. But I have to be positive.
GOOD LUCK!!!! You will do fine. Don't forget to breathe and relax during the exam and take a break whenever you feel like your brain is fried!
