Hi Nurses

I an an LVN from California and will be graduating with my BSN in June 2014, i want to relocate to Denver for Health reasons. i hear the job market in Denver is very tough. I have 6 years experience as an LVN (SNF and Home Health). I aslo have have an LPN Licence from Colorado. I intend to do ACLS,PALS,and NRP certification this summer, hopefully it helps me land a job quickly. Please can anyone give me any tips of getting a job easier. I am really scared where I currently live( Bakersfield) it is easier to get a job as a New Grad, but my Asthma is killing me here, I have been having flare ups in the past months.

Your poll question is not a "yes" or "no" question. The answer is BSN. But experience counts for everything in CO I think.

It takes about 3-6 months for a BSN to find a job in CO (new grad) and 6-12 months for ADN
