So yesterday I was rejected from Roxborough :-( my TEAS score was too low (61.3).... Now I'm feeling completely discouraged and lost. I'm going to apply to Montgomery County Community college on May 1st, hopefully they'll take me. I really wanted to get in this year :-(. Just don't know what to do.....

Do they have Spring admissions as well? Maybe you could retest and reapply for Spring too?

Aw, please do not be discouraged! I had the SAME problem! I also do not test well on standardized tests. I applied to Aria three times, Gwynedd Mercy once and they all denied me! My GPA is amazing, as well as my experience but they unfortunately did did not look at anything unless the TEAS was as high as they wanted. I FINALLY have been excepted into Harcum College for their Part time Day nursing program this fall. My teas still was not great, but they made their final decision based on EVERYTHING, not just the TEAS. So, do not give up if you want this bad enough it will happen for you. Stay positive!! : )

Don't be discouraged! May I ask what your TEAS score was? Just retake it and reapply aim for at least a 70% most schools would like to see 70% or higher with particular focus on the algebra. I think you have another shot at Rox though just retake it and stay encouraged.

Try elsewhere!! Not everyone requires the TEAS! Don't give up. If this is what you really want to do, just keep going. Call up area schools and ask if they require the TEAS or not... You can do it!!
I do see your score sorry lol but still try again do not give up!!

DO NOT get discouraged or give up, just use this time to study your ass off for the TEAS. I'm not sure if you purchased the study guide with the free online assessments from ATI but do so if you have not (I think it's like $45). It really helps because the questions and exam mirror the kind of questions on the TEAS. Roxborough is a great program and worth getting into. Retake the TEAS, reapply, and I'm crossing my fingers for you
