  1. Ain't nobody got time for that!
  2. Hello all! I am starting my senior year this coming semester. I really think it depends on your personality and your determination. If you want to become a nurse, or anything for that matter, NOTHING will stop you. I left home at an early age and always worked full time and went to school. I had no choice, there was no one to pay my rent, car payment, and other bills but me. I work full time in veterinary medicine and go to school full time as well and still manage A's and B's. I am not going to tell you it has been easy, it hasn't. I had to move in with a friend, I had to sell pretty much everything I own, give up sleep, but it I can finally see the finish line!! I am glad I have had to do things this way, because once it is over and I no longer have to count pennys I know that I will appreciate it even more. Good luck to you, if I can do it anyone can!
  3. Aw, please do not be discouraged! I had the SAME problem! I also do not test well on standardized tests. I applied to Aria three times, Gwynedd Mercy once and they all denied me! My GPA is amazing, as well as my experience but they unfortunately did did not look at anything unless the TEAS was as high as they wanted. I FINALLY have been excepted into Harcum College for their Part time Day nursing program this fall. My teas still was not great, but they made their final decision based on EVERYTHING, not just the TEAS. So, do not give up if you want this bad enough it will happen for you. Stay positive!! : ) Tara
