Regis College Fall 2018

Hey guys,

I was recently accepted to the Direct entry MSN program for family nurse practitioner at Regis College and I had a couple of questions regarding the school and I was hoping someone at allnurses could shed some light about the program.

First Question is How much is the total cost for the family nurse practitioner program?

Second Question is there any scholarship available that I can get?

Third Question, does regis help you find a preceptor or do the students have to find their own?

Fourth Question, are the professor/clinical instructors out there to help the students or do you have to do everything on your own?( I heard a lot of negative feedback regarding this topic and i just want some clarification)

If someone who attended this school can answer these questions and if they can also give their review about the school/program I'll greatly appreciate it.

Thank you guys

Hi there! I was also accepted and have been hoping someone would comment on your post. Maybe we can bounce some info off each other at least. How much do you know about Regis? I've seen some posts saying its an ok school but not the best. Do you have any concerns about it?

I've just been accepted too, starting in January 2018 for psych NP, would be curious to hear any feedback as well. I do know that you are responsible for finding your own preceptor.

Starting psyc np program as well in spring. Did you apply to any other programs? Are you taking out loans?

Hi all!

Finally submitted my application! A little nervous due to the fact that my undergrad gpa and GRE scores were very low. But I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Health Science with a great gpa and have received all As in Nursing prerequisites. With over 5 years of patient care experience. Any insight on my chances of getting in? (Trying to remain positive)

Ive seen you post this in four different threads lol. I'm sure you'll get in somewhere. Regis doesn't seem too picky to me. Although I guess when you say very low gpa and GRE, that's not ideal

lol hey! Just trying to get some insight from those who applied to the same schools as me. I only applied to 6 programs!

Yeah it's a scary process. Your experience seems great. Is your gpa above the minimum requirement the schools set?

Hey guys! I received my acceptance to Regis's BS/MS PNP program yesterday! Anyone else get a decision yet? I was super surprised by how fast it came considering I only submitted the application on December 1st.

I was just accepted today! Did you apply to any other schools? I can't believe we have to make a decision so soon, and I am still waiting to hear back from other programs..

I applied to a bunch of other schools so I think I'm going to turn down Regis. Their deposit is just too steep for a school that isn't my first choice.

I just got accepted in the FNP program for spring 2018. Looking forward to starting the next chapter. I think most programs will have their ups and downs. it really depends on how much effort you put into it. Good luck to all on your future journey.

I understand. I am going to try to set an appointment to meet with a counselor next week. Hoping to hear from other schools before the 28th deadline. Keep us updated and good luck to everyone!
