I just passed my NCLEX and i need to do the refresher course here in Texas because my license is from my Hawaii and haven't practice for the last 5 years in my country where I came from. (Philippines)
I am employed in a hospital right now and they're offering me the internship. my question is should I still do the refresher course or that internship is considered as a refresher already?

The best place to ask this question is the TX Board of Nursing. I'm currently taking an online refresher course to re-activate my RN license through Austin Community College. I was out of nursing for many years due to medical disability. I remember reading on the board of nursing's website that one of the alternatives to a refresher course was an "extensive orientation". But you would have to check with the TX Board of Nursing to make sure your hospital's internship meets all of the board's requirements.
sure i will. i called them before that internship is considered as an extensive orientation but forgot to ask if my hospital is qualified to do the refresher. some students do there clinicals here so i supposed they are qualified to do. im just gonna call the BON if that's the case. thank you
