For those who own or operate home health agencies, I have a question. If you have a patient that requests your agency can you contact thier Doctor to obtain orders or does the referral have to come from a Physcian?

Thank You, that helps a lot. Is there anywhere that I can go to find the forms I need to become certified by Medicare as a home health agency. I am in the process of becoming licensed by the state which I ofcourse have to obtain first, but I am having a hard time finding exactly what the requirements are for medicare.
