Recovery trek

I tested last week and yesterday and they still haven't charged my card or anything. How long does it take for them to charge my card for these tests?

It takes a few days after the tests.

Anywhere from 3 days at the earliest in my experience up to 20 days. My average time over 5 years was about 8 days. But not uncommon to have 12 or 13 days and again several times 2 weeks or more. It totally varies based on how backed up the lab is. For example, Did one or 2 people call in sick, family emergencies, vacations with lab workers, Holidays when testing picks up, etc. The lab worker issues are no different than nurses at a hospital. They get short sometimes also.

I get emails months later saying they forgot to charge me months later.

Unfortunately, it's all over the place.  I know many times, you will hear that "if the test takes longer, it's most likely positive due to confirmation testing."  That  has been wrong.

Recently, Urine ETG have taken 4-7 days after the test to charge the credit card.  Hair tests have taken 7-10 days to charge the credit card.  Peth has also taken 7-10 days to charge, one time even took 12 days!

After covid, these labs are short-staffed I think?  Short-staffing and these labs are pretty slow still.
